Sudbury Primary School underwent an Ofsted inspection in March 2023, and we are delighted to announce and celebrate that we were judged to be ‘Good’.
Inspectors were particularly impressed with the following areas, highlighting them as strengths and offering comments of praise:
- “Pupils are proud of their school and behave well…Behaviour is highly positive, both in lessons and outside on the playground.”
- “There is a calm, purposeful atmosphere throughout the school, and lessons are focused on learning.”
- “The curriculum is broad and ambitious.”
- “Pupils enjoy the wide range of additional activities on offer.”
- “Pupils’ wider development has been well considered.”
- “Staff, including those at the start of their careers, are overwhelmingly positive about the support that they receive with their workload and well-being.”
- “There is a strong culture of safeguarding.”
- “Leaders know families well.”
